Privacy Policy First and foremost, Shop&Raise respects your right to privacy. Shop&Raise will never sell any of the personally identifiable information we collect--your name, organization affiliation, e-mail address, preferences, Shop&Raise mall purchase information, site activity or other personally identifiable information--to any third party, ever, without your consent or court order. Though we make every effort to preserve your privacy we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our Web site. Shop&Raise provides you with the ability to create an on-going fundraising arm of your organization. Our program appears to reside on your site, however, is hosted on our servers. Your organizations members, families and supporters click to your site, click on the merchant that they would like to shop from and then the stated percentage will be accumulated into your account for later disbursement to your organization. Shop&Raise's privacy statement, below, pertains to these services and the management of data related to providing these services. SHOP&RAISE PRIVACY STATEMENT How does Shop&Raise use the information collected? We will be utilizing your e-mail address to send you our newsletters and to alert you to special opportunities and offers. If you have given permission, we will also forward newsletters from your organization to you. We will disclose information that we gather only in the aggregate in order to analyze our usage and attract advertisers, corporate sponsors or merchant affiliates. We will take great care and caution to keep whatever information we gather safe. If you would like to be part of our email and other related communications your name and email is revealed to Shop&Raise. No other information is shared or revealed with any other party. We will automatically send a welcome e-mail for your interest in Shop&Raise. Please note that when a member shops at our advertisers or with a Shop&Raise merchant, they are dealing with another company, not Shop&Raise. This means that you enter into a relationship with that company / Web site separately from Shop&Raise. Any information you share with that advertiser or merchant is subject to their policies and practices, not to Shop&Raise's policies or practices. Members are encouraged to read the privacy policies of our merchant partners. What security measures are taken to protect member information? Non-authorized personnel do not have physical access to our computers or database. Employees review security guidelines on a quarterly basis, as well as any time new policies are added. The servers that we use to store personally identifiable information are kept in a locked room at a secure facility. Are cookies used by Shop&Raise? Currently Shop&Raise does not use cookies on our site. However, certain vendors and merchants do use ‘cookies' to make visiting Shop&Raise merchants a better, easier experience. Cookies also make it easier for us to track your activity and purchases and to match them with your member registration and charity so that you and your selected cause receive the appropriate credit. We do not share this information with others. What if I wish to cancel my membership? The Shop&Raise program may be canceled at any point. Although we know that there is not much reason to cancel. How will I be notified of changes to these privacy statements? If Shop&Raise materially changes our practices in handling personally identifiable information, as described in this policy, we will notify you by posting the changes on this privacy statement and on the Shop&Raise Web site at least 30 days prior to their implementation. You will have a choice as to whether or not we use your information in this different manner.
